Hensberry Travels didn't begin with a business plan. It began at the exit of Harajuku station on a first morning in Tokyo, when a stranger stopped and said — with complete sincerity — "This is a pen." There was no pen in sight.

Nearly a decade in Tokyo followed. A life built inside another culture — not visited, but lived. Then home. Then Peter. Brooklyn meeting St. Louis, Carberry meeting Hensley, two different worlds becoming one shared aesthetic, one shared home, one shared name: Hensberry.
